About
Flintcore Play started as a group chat where a few friends kept swapping screenshots of games they couldn't stop playing. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so other people could skip the duds and find the keepers faster.
We focus on racing and arcade titles because those are the games we reach for most on a phone — quick to load, easy to pick up, hard to put down. But we also cover RPGs, strategy, adventure and the odd simulator when something catches our eye.
Every game we write about gets actually played. Not a trailer, not a press kit — hours of real sessions on real phones. If something runs badly on a mid-range device or the controls fight your fingers, we'll say so.
We're independent and small. That means we can be picky, and we can be honest. No game makes a list here because someone asked nicely.
Mikael Lindqvist — Mikael has been reviewing mobile games for over a decade and still gets genuinely excited about a well-tuned drift mechanic. He handles most of the racing and arcade coverage.
